Vintage Prints, Bovril Prints by C W Faulkner and Co of London, Pears Posters and Vintage Calenders of Melksham, Bristol and Calne

Introduction

This page has copies of the collection of Bovril Prints by C W Faulkner and Co of London, Pears Posters and Vintage Calenders of Melksham, Bristol and Calne which came to us from my grandparents who lived in Melksham. They were probably obtained via a local grocer called Strattons and some were still in the original cylindrical shipping containers addressed to Strattons. Many still had/have the original tissue paper protecting the prints although in many cases it has done as much harm as good as there is slight tinting where the tissue was in contact. Most are in good condition especially many of the classic Pears prints.

If you have any knowledge about these posters or are an avid collector then please get in touch as we have more than we can justify using or even keeping so some are looking for homes.
